Insurance Defense
Flora Pettit’s attorneys also have experience litigating various kinds of matters for clients whose insurers are defending them pursuant to many types of insurance policies. These matters arise in numerous industries and raise diverse issues giving us a breadth and depth of experience to handle almost any litigation relating to claims made against insureds. We routinely handle insurance defense matters involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, products liability, professional negligence, and other civil litigation.
Our attorneys also have a special emphasis on defending trucking and transportation claims. We have defended lawsuits throughout Virginia against interstate carriers with large fleets, small motor carriers and owner/operators.
